2007 - Library Wines
Vintage Notes
The weather conditions this year were the makings for stellar fruit! A cold winter allowed the vines to go dormant and catch some much needed rest in preparation for the season. A temperate spring allowed for a great set and a moderately warm summer presented great conditions for long hang time and optimal ripening. The vines produced a good number of shot berries. They are the smaller berries on a cluster (sometimes called chicks) combined with larger ones (hens). The small berries have amazing concentration of flavors and add a beautiful component to the wines.
